Understanding Subconscious Mind

Years-long old habit patterns, thoughts, emotions are stored in hidden parts of the mind, subconscious mind.

Your Subconscious is a vast collection of unintentional, habitual thoughts, behaviors, and actions. Therefore, the phrase that best describes the Subconscious mind is NO CHOICE.

Every bit of your daily life is guided by your subconscious beliefs and interpretations.

In short, your subconscious mind is like the auto-pilot feature on an airplane. It has been pre-programmed to follow a specific route and you can’t deviate from that route unless you change the directions programmed into it first.

With every experience, your subconscious mind soaks in information, emotions, feelings, judgement, perceptions, and assumptions like a sponge.

It simply accepted that all you received during your early childhood was true. That's one reason why religion is influencing like a supernatural thing for many.

By the time of adult, you already had a solid foundation of belief based on all that programming from people in your life, television shows you watched, and other environmental influences.

All of this information is stored below your level of conscious awareness. The only time you become aware of it is when it limits your progress in creating a balanced, successful and productive life.

With every experience you have, you draw certain conclusions and store the messages that will guide your future actions.

Your subconscious mind is absorbing information constantly and drawing conclusions and forming beliefs based on that information.

The subconscious mind is a data-bank for everything, which is not in your conscious mind. It stores your beliefs, your previous experience, your memories, your skills. Everything that you have seen, done or thought is also there.

The subconscious mind controls all involuntary bodily functions like breathing, salivating, circulation and digestion but you already knew that. You don’t consciously choose to digest your food. It just happens because subconscious processes are working.

One of the most challenging aspects of reprogramming your subconscious mind is that you can’t peek inside and see what’s still there that might need to be changed.

Instead, you’ll have to develop a strong sense of self-awareness through meditation so you can catch self-sabotaging behavior before it gets out of hand.

You’ll know when changes are taking place in your subconscious mind because you’ll notice a shift in both your inner and outer being.

The subconscious layer is not a mind. it is your underlying control system. The Subconscious Mind controls 95 percent of your decisions and lies beyond conscious awareness.

The Subconscious Mind is habit-based. The subconscious mind has the habit of taking everything literally.

If your conscious awareness is limited, your subconscious mind will continue working on autopilot, maintaining your natural or learned tendencies, for better or worse.

Some of your memories can remain completely hidden from your conscious mind.

It does not differentiate between negative and positive stuff. It doesn’t t think or reason independently, it simply obeys the commands it receives from your conscious mind.

When we dream about the future or get nostalgic thinking of the past, it is the conscious mind that’s at work. The conscious mind thinks in terms of past and future, rather than the present.

Your subconscious mind pursues goals with or without your awareness. At first blush, achieving goals unconsciously sounds great. Yet, what if those goals are influenced by bad memories and subconscious habits, that aren’t good for you?

How we see things depends on our own wishes and desires. We're especially like new information to be skeptical when it's in our own interest. Comparison to make skepticism is drawn from subconscious mind.

We judge our satisfactions NOT by thinking what is happening in reality BUT by thinking what could have happened. Data in "what could have happened" lies in subconscious mind.

When processing information that we understand and feel easy, we're more likely to trust it.

The home of “evil” is in your subconscious mind where it originates in dormant or continued-running mind memory programs.

Clean unwanted subconscious memory programs with the practice of Gratitude.

Language Of Subconscious Mind

Our subconscious mind communicates in images, feelings and metaphors focusing on emotion rather than logic or reason.

Communicating thoughts from your conscious mind to your subconscious mind is difficult because it should be done with emotions.

Only the thoughts that are conveyed with genuine emotions make it to the back of your mind.

And only the thoughts that are backed up by a strong emotion stay there.

Unfortunately, this is true both for the negative and the positive emotions. And also unfortunately, the negative emotions are usually stronger than the positive ones.

Your first step in harnessing the power of the subconscious mind is to eliminate the thoughts loaded with negative emotions. You also need to stop the negative self-talk or at least make sure that it is not loaded with emotions.

Ignorance Becomes Problems

Getting closer to the hidden part of your mind isn’t dangerous. In fact, living with a greater awareness of your subconscious mind is the healthiest thing you can do.

Ignorance of what the subconscious mind does is the reason we have such a hard time with troublesome thoughts and feelings.

Most people live with the disruptive subconscious ice chunks of perilous thoughts, feelings, doubts and criticisms, as they come to mind. But most people don’t see them coming.

If you don’t see a chunk of a huge glacier coming, you won’t know how to react productively.

Subconscious icebergs don’t need to be a huge problem. They only cause problems when we are ignorant of their nature. Like real icebergs, subconscious icebergs are safe, as long as you know how to behave in their presence.

Activated With Resistance

When our subconscious minds hold us back from pursuing something that we love, it is because we are holding a conflicting belief about it.

You have some old programmed messages that conflict with the new conditions you want to create.

If you have an experience that conflicts with an already established belief, your subconscious mind will either reject it or reframe it so it goes along with your existing view of reality.

To identify your resistance, question yourself.

Ask yourself why you feel better when you procrastinate.

Ask yourself why getting what you really want could actually put you in a place that makes you feel more vulnerable than ever.

Find a way to meet those needs before you proceed. Give yourself permission to be successful.

Listen to your subconscious resistance.

What's going on with me?

Activated With Fear

Listen to Your Fears and Define What They Are.

Be courageous to have an internal dialog with fear and find out the hidden messages it's providing.

Be mindful about what’s hindering you from doing X.

What is preventing me from getting x? What possible subconscious mind blockages do I hold?

Now here’s the thing: it might be scary and unpleasant to look inside. It can be frightning to stare at all of the new exposed parts of yourself you’ve been ignoring.

In order to find a solution, you have to name the problem.

The Reason That You Are Subconsciously Blocked Must Be Revealed.

Despite all your efforts, something is pulling you back to the starting point.

This could be subconscious beliefs such as, “Money will make me lose my family time”; “If I make money, I’m afraid to lose everything” (scarcity mindset); “I am not good enough to be successful”.

Or it could be a behavioral issue such as lacking perseverance, dedication

Activated During Stress

During stressful situations, only subconscious mind is the most influential part that reacts to situations.

Your subconscious mind has immense power in controlling your life experiences — from the types of food you eat to the actions you take each day, the level of income you earn, and even how you react to stressful situations.

Tool: Counter-Attack

Someone told you negativity was bad. You were indoctrinated to focus only on the positive and negativity didn’t vanish when you tried to do that.

Stop believing your negative thoughts and feelings shouldn’t be there. They ARE there. Acknowlegde them. Denial is a frustrating self-flagellation.

If your daily environment is filled with negativity and strife, imagine what kinds of messages are being absorbed into your mind.

Your first action is to strictly limit the negativity you’re exposed to from this moment on.

Avoid watching the news unless you absolutely must, and avoid spending too much time with ‘toxic’ people.

Instead, seek out positive information to read and watch, and spend most of your time with positive, successful people.

Over time you’ll find that more encouraging messages are being absorbed into your mind, which will alter the way you see yourself and your potential.

For every negative thoughts on particular person and situations, immediately think postitive aspects. Keep doing it until negativies are lessened to none.

One of the best practices in reducing negative self-talk is the counter technique. Every time a negative thought comes to your mind, you counter it with the extreme positive counter-thought.

For example if you have an important presentation and you think to your self: “I am going to embarrass myself in front of all those people”, immediately counter it with: “NO! I am going to be so good that the audience will applaud me for five minutes”.

Tool: Self-Questioning

Be aware of gut feeling and intuition. Our intuition is the complex system in the brain that acts like a bridge between the subconscious and the conscious mind. Our subconscious mind is the process of the brain that requires no analytical reasoning.

The communication between the subconscious and the conscious mind is bidirectional. Every time when you have an idea, or an emotion, a memory or an image from the past, this is the subconscious mind communicating to your conscious mind.

You can talk with subconscious mind through multiple levels of questions to find out the origin of root. Do you get anxious? Depressed? Do you procrastinate? Do you nurture habits that aren’t good for you?

Tool: Meditation

Make fear as your meditation object.

Make resistance as your meditation object.

Make unwillingness as your meditation object.

If clarity and equanimity are poured into the sensory circuits, it causes a global transformation throughout the whole of the subconscious.

The subconscious is reorganized itself due to the infusion of clarity and equanimity.

The rheological paradigm addresses self-interference at a microscopic scale—holdings and fixations that go on continuously below the threshold of awareness at the timescale of a few seconds or even a few hundred milliseconds.

Unconscious processes are informed that the reactions they’re producing aren’t appropriate in the current situation, harming more than helping.

With this new information, reprogramming can happen at the deepest levels of the unconscious.

Tool: Affirmation/Incantation

Fill your "dead air" time with affirmation and motivation.

They will seep into your brain over time, and eventually, you will find yourself acting on wisdom received from those who are where you want to be.

Infuse your life with as much affirmation and motivation as possible. You may need to hear the lessons more than once.

Affirmations are another effective way to install positive messages into your subconscious.

Word Affirmations positively, in the present tense. Say “I am confident and successful”

Call up the corresponding feelings. Saying “I am wealthy” while feeling poor only sends conflicting messages to your subconscious.

Whatever words you’re saying at the time, strive to feel the corresponding emotions because your subconscious will be more apt to believe it.

Repeat, repeat, repeat. Affirmations don’t work if you say them just once or twice. Recite them many times throughout the day for the best results.

The good thing about this is that you can say affirmations to yourself, so they can fit seamlessly into your routine.

It’s preferred to practice them before sleep or right when you wake up in the morning.

At this point, the brain produces alpha waves.

Researcher’s EEG studies show that in this 15-minute window between wakefulness and sleep, the brain waves slow down and produce 7-14 electrical waves each second – those are Alpha waves.

When you say something mentally, you feel it, you mean it with excited body posture.

Tool: Burn The Bridges

Burn your bridges. Destroy any safe boats that you might keep just in case something messes up.

Our mind has evolved to help us survive and it is then when it achieves the best results. By burning the bridges, you set your mind in survival mode and the only way left is way ahead – towards the goal.

Tool: Visualization

Your subconscious mind responds well to pictures thus, it is far more effective than affirmation.

Visualization is a great way to program your mind with positive, empowering images.

Try spending 10–15 minutes a day visualizing positive scenes that feature you and your life experiences.

Here are some things you may want to visualize anything else you wish to draw into your life.

As you do this consistently, you end up redrawing the negative pictures stored from your past experiences, fears, worries, and doubts.

To boost the power of visualization even further, be sure to emit strong, positive emotions while you picture these wonderful things in your mind.

Allow feelings of love, joy, gratitude, and peace to flow through you as if you were truly having these experiences.

Your subconscious mind will absorb the messages as if they’re real!

This is the true beauty of visualization — the power to bypass limiting messages and focus on pleasing images, all of which are being absorbed right into your subconscious to be replayed later.

Remember an event that made you experience an extreme amount of excitement

Remember the time of your peak success.

Tool: Binaural Beats Musicals

Another popular method is the use of audio recordings that deliberately alter the frequency of your brainwaves.

“Binaural beats” result when two tones are played at differing frequencies, triggering your brainwaves to follow a different pattern.

These audio programs can help you reprogram your subconscious mind by,

Creating a more receptive forum for installing positive messages.

Research has shown that your subconscious mind is more receptive to new information when you’re very relaxed, such as in the alpha or theta states.

Using brain entrainment audio programs along with affirmations or visualization can be a powerful combination, because your subconscious mind lets down its defenses so it can easily absorb any message you wish to program in.

Listening to music releases dopamine, a neurotransmitter in the brain responsible for tangible pleasures such as food, sex, or drugs.

Tool: Hypnosis

Hypnosis is lifting our mood by means of words spoken by someone, designed to sink into our subconscious mind.

Hypnosis can be effective in much the same way as brain entrainment programs, except without the use of brainwave-altering frequencies.

Instead, the hypnotist gradually talks you into a more relaxed and receptive state and delivers empowering, positive messages to your subconscious mind.

There is a definition of high frequency in hypnosis. High frequency means things/places/actions/memories/people that make you happy. It's advised you do high frequency stuff when you're down.

Each thought is an engery. Positive energy comes from positive thoughts. Large accumulations of energy leads to action. Bad energies lead to bad behaviors.

In order to uplift the mood, you need to do high-frequency stuff.

Nature is high frequency which reflects high frequency on our mood.

Tool: Flexible With Masterplan

Master plan for your life with flexiblity and openness.

In this changing world, don't set fixed 5-10 years life plan; so much changes over time make it impossible to set fixed goals that you'll be able to keep.

Most likely, new or even better opportunities will surface, and though your life won't look like you thought it would, you're better off for that.

Instead, have a master plan. Identify your core values and motivations.

Ask yourself what is the ultimate goal of what you want to accomplish while you are alive; imagine the kind of legacy you want to leave.

Once you have your Big Picture values identified, you can make decisions for the long-term that align with your true self.

Choose a goal. Imagine the result. Focus on how it feels.

Tool: Postures

Live life in the state you already want to possess by radically changing the way you think, redact and perform.

Tool: Journaling

Keep journaling on daily basis.

If you're worry prone person, create a worrying journal log and write all your existing worries, new worries.

If we don't expel them to outsides, they grow insides and replicate.
