The Pragmatic Spirituality

Home   |   Quote View   |   Card View

The difference between religion and spirituality - Religion: This is a specific set of organised beliefs and practices, usually shared by a community. Spirituality: This is more of an individual practice for having a sense of peace and purpose, a sense of connection to our deeper selves and a search for meaning in life.

Understanding Spirituality

Spirituality is looking inward and enhancing your perception towards self and others.

Spirituality is seeing things as they are, seeing objective reality of the world, universe, situation and people around you without emotional judgements.

Where are you now -

Source Of Universe

How Did The Matter In Our Universe Arise From Nothing? -

Physics behind the tiniest particle in the Universe -

Why Human Life Valuable

Earth is well equipped as a planet and ideally placed in our solar system and galaxy to support life as we know it. The product of some 4.6 billion years of cosmic construction, our planet is flush with life thanks to a fortuitous set of conditions.

Earth's amazing gaseous atmosphere is responsible for making life possible on this, the third planet from the Sun.

Our atmosphere contains 21% oxygen, which is necessary for us to breathe, 78% nitrogen, and .9% argon. The other 0.1% consists of water vapor, carbon dioxide, neon, methane, krypton, helium, xenon, hydrogen, nitrous oxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxid

These latter elements are important to have because they help to absorb harmful solar radiation before it can reach the surface of the Earth.

The atmosphere protects us from meteors as well. Due to the friction generated between a meteor and the atmospheric gases, most meteors burn up before hitting Earth's surface as a meteorite.

The solar system is comfortably nestled in a safe harbor between major spiral arms, and its nearly circular orbit helps it avoid the galaxy’s perilous inner regions.

There are relatively few stars near the sun, reducing risks to Earth from gravitational tugs, gamma-ray bursts, or collapsing stars called supernovae.

Stars more massive than the sun burn hotter and usually don’t live long enough for planets to develop life. Less massive, younger stars are often unstable and are prone to blasting their planets with bursts of radiation.

Ancient plantlike organisms in the oceans added oxygen to the atmosphere and created a high-altitude layer of ozone that shielded early land species from lethal radiation.

How the universe was formed by design because it's too good to be random.

Imagine the universe is your own body. Your body wants all organs to be in proper order and functioning well.

How consciousness was evolved -

Logical Definition Of Nirvana

Nirvana is simply cessation of reactive and compulsive minds which causes suffering.

You wont agree life is suffering until you experience undesirable things, people, situations that persist in your life.

Corrected Buddha's Teaching Myths

It was learnt that lust is the cause of rebirths. In deepest level, the use of 'lust' is not right because it is the desire (be it lust or non-lust) that causes rebirth.

Karma is not magical. To be effective, situations must be favorable. You saved a person's life but it doesn't mean you will live longer. You may escape from death in an accident ONLY if you came across the accident.

Dimensions Of Well-being

Accomplishment (goal progress and attainment, and feelings of mastery, efficacy, and competence)

Autonomy (Being independent and able to resist social pressures)

Engagement in life (being absorbed, interested, and involved in activities and life)

Environmental mastery (Ability to shape environments to suit one's needs and desires)

High Positive emotions (high frequency and intensity of positive moods and emotions)

Life satisfaction (a positive subjective evaluation of one's life, using any information the person considers relevant)

Low negative emotions (low frequency and intensity of negative moods and emotions)

Personal growth (Continuing to develop, rather than achieving a fixed state)

Positive relations (Having warm and trusting interpersonal relationships)

Purpose and meaning in life (A clear sense of direction and meaning in one's efforts, or a connection to something greater than oneself)

Self-acceptance (Positive attitudes toward oneself)

Difference Between Buddhism And Hinduism

The Buddhist concept of Anatta or Anatman is one of the fundamental differences between Buddhism and Hinduism, with the latter asserting that atman (self, soul) exists.

Is Buddhism A Pessimistic Religion

Mind is Reality -

All kinds of suffering are but reactions of the mind, and both their arising and cessation are separately brought about by the mind.

The Buddha never claimed that this world is purely evil, or that sentient beings are objectively evil.

The ego-grasping mind, and that the world is only a reflection of one’s mind.

All these scriptures tell us that the “mind” is the creator of the universe and our existence comes from it.

With a hateful mind, hatred arises when someone takes away what we like.

With a jealous mind, jealousness arises when others are more fortunate or stronger than us.

The more our mind is defiled by greed, hatred, and delusion, the less we can see the reality of the world and the easier for us to deduce that the world is bad and evil.

Whatever considered to be bad in the world comes from the deluded minds of sentient beings who created it from their own habits.

Although Buddhism holds that sentient beings with deluded perception would experience suffering, it does not call the world evil.

On the contrary, it sees that it is possible for the continuous suffering of this delusion to cease since each being has the potential to recognize the cause and result of suffering.

With such comprehension, humans can transform this suffering into happiness and peace. In short, to depart from suffering means the removal of a deluded mind. Thus, Nirvanna is just a cessation of compulsive minds.

A True Buddhist Is Not a Negative and Pessimistic Escapist. A True Buddhist Is the Happiest of All Beings.

Many people have the wrong belief that transmigration and Nibbāna are negative and equivalent to self-annihilation.

If somebody says that there is nothing but misery in the beginning, middle and the end of human life he is making a mistake.

It is wrong to say that there is misery everywhere by just looking at disease, decay, death, grief and lamentation.

An intelligent man should refute such a claim and say that misery is not all there is to this existence.

Distorted Reality

If you feel the world around you – the human part of the world around you – you will see your experience is a cacophony of voices, thoughts, and emotions.

These voices, thoughts, and emotions are all an outpouring of confusions of many different levels and states.

These voices, thoughts and emotions are formed and expressed with a very distorted perception of the current reality.

When people are in this level of confusion, when they subjugated by the distorted perception of reality around them, they create pain and suffering for themselves.

In spite of all the conveniences and facilities that we have because of science and technology, individuals and humanity as a whole have remained an absolute confusion and mess.

Anybody who does not know how to manage his own body, mind, emotion and energies but is managing outside situations, is doing so only by accident, not by intent.

When you manage situations by accident, you exist as an accident.

When you exist as an accident, you are a potential calamity.

When you exist as a potential calamity, being anxious all the time becomes a natural part of your life.

That is the reality that you see today.

Reality Of Life

There are non-biased reality outsides. They are factual and not subjective to anybody's opinions.

And there are your inner thoughts, feelings and emotions about the non-biased reality outsides.

Your thoughts, feelings and emotions can interpret non-biased outsides reality by way of overestimating, underestimating or completely staying neutral. Staying neutral means you are in alignment with the factual outside reality not adding any emotions.

Existence of a real object outside me is never given directly in perception, but can only be added in thought to what is a modification of inner sense as its external cause, and hence can only be inferred. - Kant, Critique of Pure Reason

For people, whatever they think about life is the definition of life.

If we define life is a struggle, it's true to who assume so.

If we define life is beautiful, It's true to who assume so.

It's effortless and costless to assume whatever life is.

Reality That People Are Staying

More and more generations will put 95% of their mind on digital realm. 5% will simply go to for their physical maintenance activities.

The era is proving that physical body strength is not required for survival.

The digital realm is boundless and destination-less.

Suffering Due To Security

90% of humanity life is constantly in search of security not in search of joy or freedom.

Anything can make us worried - a news, a story, a happening, an event. It is inevitable that it's a common way we live.

95% of the time, we're not living life. We're just thinking about life. As such, we've begun to think that whatever we think about life is life.

Suffering Due To Freedom

Look at yourself and see how many swings you make in twenty-four hours.

This moment you are wonderful, next moment you are nasty; one moment you are beautiful, next moment you are ugly. Isn’t this happening to you? So you are constantly swinging.

There is no such thing that you can point out and say that this is human nature. Humanity is a flux. You can become anything you want to.

No other animal has this freedom.

So this life, which was restricted in animal nature, has now evolved to a status where it is no more restricted.

It can become anything it wants. This is freedom, but this is what human beings are suffering right now. What people are suffering is not their bondage. What people are suffering is their freedom

If your life was fixed as in animal nature, you would not be suffering so much, isn’t it? For example, when a tiger is born, he does not plan and calculate how to become a good tiger.

By just finding enough food, he will become a good tiger, isn’t it? If he gobbles up enough food, he will become a good tiger. “Will I become a tiger or will I end up as a house cat?” These kinds of fears and insecurities don’t exist for him."

Just see, being born as a human being, there are so many things you have to do to become a good human being. After all this, you still don’t know where you belong.

Suffering Due To Desire

Generally, human nature is such that people seek whatever they don’t have.

If they don’t have health, they seek health as if it is the ultimate thing. If they don’t have money, they seek money as if it is the ultimate thing. If they don’t have love, they seek love as if it is the ultimate thing.

Whatever they don’t have, that is what they seek.

If you go on asking for what you don’t have, even if you have a thousand years, you still will not get anywhere.

Right now, your whole life seems to be in pursuit of happiness because happiness is missing.

If you are very happy, after some time, even that does not seem to be enough.

Even if life becomes a very pleasant and beautiful experience, after some time you will see that there is something within you which does not want to settle for just a joyful life either.

Suffering Due To Unawareness

Whatever we are unconscious of, on that level, there is suffering.

Suppose you are driving on the street and you are completely unconscious of who is coming behind you or in front of you, it will lead to one kind of physical suffering.

Because you are unaware of the physical reality, physical suffering will come; something is going to break, isn’t it?

When you are unaware of what is happening in your family, another kind of suffering will come.

Similarly, when you are unaware of what is happening in your body, another kind of suffering will come.

When you are unaware of what is happening in your mind, another kind of suffering will come.

Buddha: Wisdom

Everything is the result of cause and effect. (As long as we don't know the cause, we won't understand why such effect occurs)

Do not look for a sanctuary in anyone except yourself.

No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.

What you are is what you have been. What you’ll be is what you do now.

We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world. All that we are is the result of what we have thought.

What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.

Our life is shaped by our mind; we become what we think. Joy follows a pure thought like a shadow that never leaves.

There is nothing so disobedient as an undisciplined mind, and there is nothing so obedient as a disciplined mind.

The greatest gift is to give people your enlightenment, to share it. It has to be the greatest.

Drop by drop is the water pot filled. Likewise, the wise man, gathering it little by little, fills himself with good.

The root of suffering is attachment.

Silence the angry man with love. Silence the ill-natured man with kindness. Silence the miser with generosity. Silence the liar with truth.

If you find no one to support you on the spiritual path, walk alone.

People with opinions just go around bothering each other.

You yourself must strive. The Buddha only point the way.

Nothing can harm you as much as your own thoughts unguarded.

Understanding is the heartwood of well-spoken words.

Meditate… do not delay, lest you later regret it.

The ultimate truth is not even to think.

However many holy words you read, however many you speak, what good will they do you if you do not act on upon them?

You only lose what you cling to.

These two people are hard to find in the world. Which two? The one who is first to do a kindness, and the one who is grateful and thankful for a kindness done.

Lack of negative emotions increase the person's ability to use intelligence.

You may have achieved everything in your life but still have nothing. Spiritual process is not about pursuing what you like.

If you put bandage on the mirror, it doesn't heal your wound. That's what people are doing the whole of their life time. Fix the inner. Look inward.

Samadhi is that state where the contact with the body is minimized to a single point, and the rest of the energy is loose, no longer involved with the body.

When the energy is stuck and identified with the body, nothing much can be done with it. All you can do is to produce thoughts, emotions, and physical actions. But once the energy becomes free from physical identification and becomes fluid.

Truth cannot be interrupted. It can only be perceived and experienced. If you interpret it, it can only be a misinterpretation.

If you're smart enough, you'll make arrangements that support you not arrangements that entangle you.

Reading all food menu vs Eating the actual food - that's what happens to spiritual seekers. Must be experiencing the food -

Everything about you is accumulation of thoughts, experience, information you have been gathering for ages and lives.

Thoughts and respiration are directly connected. Based on our thoughts, respiratory patterns change.

Freedom and good emotions are also bondage.

Everything that exists is ruled by some laws. They can only be broken only when you cease to exist.

Human beings think being ignorant is a bliss and enjoy being ignorant.

Every idea, every thought, every emotion, every value that you have is picked up from somewhere and it rules you within.

There's no need to shut off logical mind completely and listen to heart. They can both be connected and assist each other.

If you meditate every day, a day will come when you open your eyes and you can still experience that the mind is there and you are here. When you're no longer identified with your body and mind, your whole karmic bag - your past, or your unconscious mind

It cannot have any influence over you. Once the past has no influence over you, then your life becomes a huge potential and is under your conscious control.

Every breath becomes such a tremendous possibility in your life, because the past is not playing any role in your existence here now.

A mind that can consciously take any shape that every moment demands, that mind is a stepping stone for Enlightenment.

A nebulous Mind with unchanging focus or direction is the instrument of immense knowing.

The moment you enter into attachment, you enter into madness.

Compassion is not about giving or taking.

By giving, you can simply be destroying someone's life

It's simply about doing what's needed.

If there are lots of ppl who flee birds at pagoda, business of catching birds will always continue endlessly to many years.

In this related example, a better choice is to flee live fishes from wet markets. Whether there r ppl who flee fishes or not, merchants will sell fishes as long as there r ppl who eat fishes. U will save a few life of fortunate fishes

Even in doing good things, we need to think through if our good deeds can cause bad consequences or not.

Kalpa And Universe

A universe is born and died. Its period is known as Kalpa

Motion And Change

Everything around us is motion which is a change in position and location.

Our thoughts are moving from one thought to another.

Our experience about life is moving from one happening to another daily.

We measure motion in time. Motion is observed from a fixed reference point. If everything is moving, we can't sense motion.

Our perception of time is sometimes in line with movement of physical things and mental thoughts.

When the movement of thoughts stops, sense of time also stops.

Our sense on movement happens only when there is a change in our sense organs. We don't feel touching eye spectacles or shoes all days - only when we first wear our spectacle or shoe.

If there is a black wall, we will first notice it then our continuation of noticing stops until there's a change in color or crack happens.

Our sense organs are already relative. When our body is 10 degree, we will not feel cold if we touch the object at that temperature.

A skin can't sense its own temperature. Eye can't see itself. Observer can't observe himself. A mad person can't know about his own madness. If you forget something, you can't know it at the moment of forgetting.

An observer can see everything but itself. Anything seen, felt, touched cannot be part of observer itself.

Does the nature exist in the same way to someone deaf and someone blind? All experiences are relative to observers.

If a change is all we notice in our daily life, are we still going to collect all relative and incremental changes as knowledge?

There's no observation in absense of motion. Attention itself an movement. Attention is fixated on a object. Only changes are noticed.

How long can we stare at the sky that is absolutely still with no clouds and birds?

How long can we continue to feel cold during our swimming?

Law Of Attention

Which you pay attention to will come into existence and grow.

Which you withdraw your attention from will wane and disappear.

Attention and awareness are two diffent ways of knowing the world.

Attention singles out small part of awareness to analyze and interpreit.

Awareness provides overall context for consicious experience.

Law Of Gratitude

Are you grateful for your health only when it's good? Or do you notice your health only when your body gets sick?

Are you grateful for your job or do you value it only when there will be cutbacks and retrenches in other companies?

Are you grateful for your paycheck every single time or do you take it for granted?

Every one of us has received help, support, guidance from other people at particular times in our life. As life goes on, we tend to forget those times when one person touched and changed our life for the better.

Gratitude turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow. – Melodie Beattie

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity….

If we're not grateful for each thing in our lives, we're unintentionally taking those things for granted.

If you're grateful for a relationship, even if it's not perfect, you'll see it miraculously get even better.

If you're grateful for the job that you have, even if it's not your dream job, things will begin to change so that you can enjoy your job more and all kinds of opportunities for your work will suddenly appear.

If you're grateful for the money you have, no matter how little, you'll see your money magically grow.

It's impossible to be negative, to criticize, to blame, to feel sad when you're grateful.

Psychology Today defines gratitude as an “emotion expressing appreciation for what one has – as opposed to, for example, a consumer-driven emphasis on what one wants.”

Taking things for granted is a major cause of negativity, because when we take things for granted, we're not giving thanks in return. Taking things for granted results in complaining, negative thoughts and words.

The deeper you feel it, the faster you will see amazing results. The more gratitude you feel, the happier you will feel, the faster your life will change.

The power of gratitude is greater than any negative situation.

When you direct gratitude toward something or someone, you'll feel it even more, your gratitude will even more intensity power and create even magic.

When you think why you're grateful, it will help you feel gratitude more deeply.

When you're grateful for the things you have, no matter how small they may be, you'll see those things instantly increase.

You'll feel significantly better and happier each time you count gratitudes.

A moment of gratitude makes a difference in your attitude. – Bruce Wilkinson

Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance. – Eckhart Tolle

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them. – John F. Kennedy

Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.

The more you thank life, the more life gives you to be thankful for.

When eating a fruit, think of the person who planted the tree. – Vietnamese Proverb

When times get tough, the key is not to stay strong… the key is to stay grateful.

The more we practically practise gratitude that is so related to our life, the better we feel every day.

Heartfelt Gratitude is actual sending love and kindness which is the power Buddha applied to conquer evil spirit - man nat.

When your heart is filled with gratitude, you'll feel more grateful every time you say, hear, and see "Thank you"

Turn all negative feelings, concerns, worries into positive feelings through the PRACTICAL APPLICATION of GRATITUDE.

Lost money? Think of one thing you have remain.

# Applicable uses: curing bad past, nurturing contentment, appreciating what we've possessed

For who have depressive or self-defeating feelings, for those with a reactive personality who habitually see something is always wrong in any situation, for those with perfectionist who is irritated to find imperfections in any situations

Gratitude develops patience. It's an antidote to greed, a sense of not having enough. A lack of gratitude means we are not paying attention and taking existence for granted

To be mindful is to see the world as it is without judgments. Gratitude is responding to the world rather than reacting to it.

Gratitude helps us be fully present and attentive to our surroundings. Moment-to-moment mindfulness and gratitude go hand in hand.

Law Of Positivity

Your life is all about your thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Your feelings always happen to be reactive feedback systems which is why you are depending on external situations and people to define happiness, sadness or being neutral.

At the end of a day, your daily feelings and perceptions are the true reality of your life. It becomes your own history of yesterday, last week, last month, last year and entire life.

You can own your thoughts and feelings 100% without affecting everyone or situations around you. You can truly master your thoughts and feelings just through effortless 10-minute daily guided meditation.

You can define only once-a-year vacation as a happy moment. It's entirely up to you.

And you can define the time after 6 pm on weekdays and on weekends as happy moments. It's entirely up to you, too.

Or better, you can define today as a wonderful happy day and it's absolutely up to you, too. Nobody will ever bother how you are feeling now and today. Thus, it's always worth to feel good, awesome and amazing at every single day.

Start to feel accomplishments even if you have not succeeded yet.

Start to feel being loved and surrounded by love even if it’s not there yet.

Start to feel healthy even if you’re not in the perfect health yet.

Start to feel having happy relationship even if you don't have it yet.

Start to feel prosperous even if you don’t have wealth yet.

Start to feel you have answer about a big life problem even if you don’t have a solution yet.

Start to love job difficulties even if they have not been solved yet.

Start to feel completion of your pending tasks and projects even if you have not finished them yet.

You are getting what you’re feeling about - be it good or bad. Your thoughts and feelings create your life. It will always be that way.

Law Of Karma

Karma refers to actions driven by intention (cetanā),a deed done deliberately through body, speech or mind, which leads to future consequence.

Simply, Karma simply means action which always come back to you as future consequences. It's not somebody watching you and punishing you.

The Buddha defined karma as intention; whether the intention manifested itself in physical, vocal or mental form, it was the intention alone which had a moral character: good, bad or neutral

Certain experiences in life are the results of previous actions, but our responses to those experiences are not predetermined, although they bear their own fruit in the future.

Unjust behaviour may lead to unfavorable circumstances which make it easier to commit more unjust behavior, but nevertheless the freedom not to commit unjust behavior remains.

Karma in the early canon is also threefold: Mental action (S. manaḥkarman), bodily action (S. kāyakarman) and vocal action (S. vākkarman).

Every action has a consequence.

If you want to stop karma, stop passing the balls around, throwing balls to others, fortune, god and anybody elese. . If I'm unhappy ,it's me. If I'm happy, it's me. If I lose, it's me. If I win, it's me.

Creation flow of Karma | Cognize (automatic) -> Recognize (automatic) -> Sensation(automatic) -> Reaction (you can control it)

When a sensation comes, be calm, and simply experience and be aware of the sensation for what it is.

Hear a sound. Classify a sound. If never heard a sound, you will learn about it and record in your system. Whenever a sound comes to your ear, you classify it, react it.

Whatever is your past karma - that's the way you recognize it. Karma - the very way you experience everything is your making. You're making your experience every moment of your life.

If you're in the state of total acceptance whatever it is happening to you, all the karma attached to sensations of the past are collapsing.

The very way you think, feel, understand, perceive and experience your life is determined by all past inputs. If you experience unique event, you will generate a sensation and record it in your karmic storage.

You likes and dislikes are bondages of karma.

Whether you're awake or sleep, 4 dimensions (Physical, Mental, Emotion, Energy) of Karma is happening.

There's no god/manager/evil judge sitting up there and monitoring your Karma. Your life is your making. There's nothing else that can decide.

Because 99% of our actions, thoughts, feelings, emotions are happpening accidentally or unconsciously, it looks like some other forces are manipulating to us.

If you can prevent your body from committing bad Karma,15-20% of your life and destiny will be in your hands.

If you can prevent your mental process from committing bad Karma, 50-60% of your life and destiny will be in your hands.

If you can take charge of your basic life energy into your hands, 100% of your life and destiny will be in your hands.

Karma is not like Reward and Punishment systems. It is just residual memory within yourself. Every action/emotion/thought is recoded in your memory.

A good analogy is you're building an unconscious software so naturally it begins to function in certain way.

The karmic body is subject to external influences. You can undo karmic body by being in right place, atmosphere, people, and energy.

The moment it’s about me, the Karma will grow rapidly due to the tying of identifications - likes and dislikes, love and hatred; I can’t do this. I want to do that. I hate this person..etc.

If you just sit, breathe, and live, your karma wears off. But the problem is during other times, you may be acquiring more Karma than what is wearing off, depending on the level of awareness.

Prarabdha Karma - - a collection of past karmas, which are ready to be experienced through the present body

Kriyamana karma - karma that human beings are creating in the present, the fruits of which will be experienced in the future

Sanchita karma - the sum of one's past karmas -

Nishkam Karma - self-less or desireless action, is an action performed without any expectation of fruits or results, and the central tenet of Karma Yoga path to liberation. -

Spiritual practices tamper and reset prior life Karmas and predictions made by astrologers.

How rapidly you can empty your Pararadha karma depends on how quickly you move from one aspect of life to another. If you're still in love with current life, you'll die in unnatural death.

Not everything we suffer in current life is due to past bad Karma. There are inherent troubles based on era and environment of living.

Karma isn’t the force that keeps bringing us back into Samsara, experiencing endless rebirth. The things that keep us coming back to Samsara are our own desires and craving for the thrill of existence that keeps bringing us back.

Does Karma just mean physical action? How about Mental thought? - Both mental and physical actions.

Every positive action comes with immediate good Karma - that is the Serenity of Mind.

Karma is the cement which holds you to the physical body -

Modern-day Karma

Physical abuse is rare in our modern day.

Modern-day people create bad karma in terms of thinking and saying negative about people repeatedly through their life.

Any bad thoughts, emotions, feelings feed to next similar thoughts as fuels. The immediate return of such bad Karmas within this life is stress and anxiety.

Why is that some people don't feel pain despite a situation causing them suffering

Why is that some people feel pain or Emotional easily

You may be physically stay peaceful in this time at a safe country due to your past karma of avoiding killing and torturing animals in past life

But if your mind is causing you your own suffering, you're getting mental Karma.

But if your mind is causing you your own suffering, you're getting mental Karma.

Such mental Karma arrives from your Karma storage subconscious layer.

This mental karma is designed to make you suffer.

The only way to reduce is to make meditative aware of it with complete acceptance of its nature.

Karma In Disembodied Being

The allotted Karma just wears off just by living.

Cannot acquire new Karma because there's no physical body and there's no conscious mind

Everything happens by tendencies except for those few celestial beings who are at certain level of awareness.

Law Of Duality

To feel hot, coldness has to exist.

To feel happy, sadness has to exist.

For being alive, death has to exist.

To be positive, negativity has to exist.

For being alive, death has to exist.

Peace exists together Misery.

Correctness exists together with mistakes.

Law Of Balance

Everything in moderation rules all areas of life.

In weight lifting sport, you have to balance in all aspects to possess strength in all parts of your body.

In nutrition, eating something overly triggers side effects. e.g. healthy green tea causing toxicity in liver.

In career, you have to balance technical skills and soft skills as well as caring for yourself and family to be able to perform well at work as every aspect of your life is interconnected.

Law Of Impact

Few people thought to apply the 80/20 Principle to everyday life or the ramifications it could have.

Obviously, the 80/20 rule is not necessarily a rigid dictum to live by (don’t let the 80/20 rule become the 80% that gives 20% of the results!).

Where are 80% of your money MIS-SPENT?

Who are the 20% of people you’re close to who can control and alter your daily mood at their demand?

Who are the 20% of people you’re close to who make you the happiest?

Who are the 20% of people you’re close to who benefit you the most?

Who are 80% of people you spend time with who only add 20% of the pleasure in your life?

What personal tasks do you spend 20% of your time doing that gives you 80% of your happiness?

What is the 20% of your work that gets you 80% of the credit and recognition from your team or boss?

What are the 20% of the clothes you wear 80% of the time?

What are 80% of the clothes you wear 20% of the time?

What are the 20% of the food you eat 80% of the time will probably explain whether you keep a healthy diet or not and how healthy it is.

What are the 20% of behaviors that cause 80% of the problems in your relationships?

What are the 20% of things in life make you unhappy 80% of the time?

What tasks do you spend 80% of the time doing that bring in 20% of the returns (i.e., checking email over and over, writing memos, taking a long time to make basic and unimportant decisions, etc.)?

Where and why do 80% of problems/stress/procrastination come from?

What are the 20% of your possessions you get the most value out of?

What are 80% of your yesterday's emotions like?

What 80% of your thoughts give you worries and negative emotions?

What changes could you make in your life today based on the 80/20 Principle?

Law Of Accumulation

In every success we want in life, it's often not an immediate or one-off task you can just get it done and get achievement straight away.

Be it great accomplishments at work / school, desirable body figure, extraordinary personal goals, spiritual enlightenments, or even a perfect cooking skill. All has to be acquired from regularly repeated commitments, tasks, failures and adjustments.

This indicates that there's an continual accummulation of efforts required; hence the law of Accumulation.

Unlimited Energy

When things continue to move, they get tired. We too get tired after continuously moving and acting all day.

But nobody ever gets tired of breathing or beating of one’s own heart except if they suffer asthma or heart issues.

This proves that there is somehow existence of unlimited energy that drives such activities. And this energy concept is so mysteriously hidden from our minds.

That unbound energy continues to drive every movement from tiniest atoms to the biggest galaxies.

Human minds may have grown a lot in terms of evolution, yet they are far from tapping the source of such energy.

Law Of Survival

Don’t think that the tree outside is thinking of growing flowers for you to do pooja or wear them in your hair, or smell them and feel wonderful about it.

It is trying to attract the bees and the birds and reproduce.

It is not at all concerned about you; it is striving for its survival and reproduction. You give it all kinds of meanings in your head, but all life, every creature – a plant, an animal, an insect or a worm is only striving for its survival.

Truth Vs Falseness

Truth is one. It is constant, permanent and does not change. Nobody can defy the Truth.

Unlike the truth, the falseness is not one, but many. It is not fixed but keeps on changing. It is based on many individual's interpretation. Just as the truth is permanent, falseness seems temporary.

One is permanent and the other is temporary. One is singular while other is countless. One is permanent while the other is temporary. One does not change while the other is always changing form.

A truth is simply ‘one’. A truth is something permanent. A truth is something that never changes. If we look around, everything is moving, changing shape.

If something is present at some place but not at other place, it cannot be called constant. Since the truth is constant and non-moving, it has to be present at all the places.

There are some things which change thousands of times within a second, whereas there are other things which change a little in million years. Nevertheless, nothing ever remains same, so it seems! Everything known must be false!

We agree that the truth is present at all the places all the times, constant and non-moving. Can this presence be known by any means such as seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, tasting, feeling or interpreting?

We have thought over, contemplated, and understood that the nature of truth is such that even though it is always present everywhere all the time around us, it cannot be known the way we know things around us.

All the means of perception available to us cannot help in observing the truth, because observation can only happen when movement happens.

We cannot perceive the truth. But we can perceive everything false. In other words, everything we ever perceive is always going to be the false according to the very nature of movement being a change in place or time.

Since we cannot perceive the truth directly, we must go on rejecting everything that is false. We do not care what the truth looks like, smells or tastes like.

All we know that whatever we see, hear or do is not the real truth. We continue to ignore everything that is temporary, whether pleasures, pains, sorrows or our achievements as they are nothing but movements on the screen of life.

We continue living our lives constantly aware of our being on the side of the truth always, because when everything that is false is ignored, nothing but the truth remains.

Practical life example: There are many rumors about a situation. But there's only one truth about the situation.

Practical life example: There are many contradicting forecasts about the tomorrow's weather by many weather stations. What will happen is only one state of the weather.

Pleasing the senses is self-indulgence. Any pleasure you acquire from the outside world cannot last or be ultimately fulfilling because they are impermanent. So one has to seek it again and again.

This kind of craving is the very driving force for becoming, rebirth and dukkha, and it is the seeking of pleasure that gets one trapped in the cycle of rebirth and death.

That is why in Buddhism one has to look inward rather than outward. The outside world won't give you freedom or insight. In order to gain insight and enlightenment one must look inside.

Meditation is a way of looking into yourself and gaining insight. It's the path to freeing oneself from the craving of pleasure, hence the path to getting out of the cycle of birth and death, i.e. attaining Nibbana.

Non-existence Of Impossibility

If you trust your logical mind to decide what is possible, what is not possible, what is attainable, what is not attainable, it will always tell you only mediocre things are possible.

We are always trying to create our life based on the reality that exists around us at this moment.

Science has been proving for centuries that things once thought impossible could be invented.

Perception Of Time

Clock and calendar are just universal term like currency so that we all can refer time easily. Time is just a perception of the current moment based on what we do.

How to feel traveling in time medium (one point to another): read/audio books, work

How to feel escape from time medium: music/movie/social media/, deep thinking or learning something

How to feel every second of time: HIIT workout, meditation

How to feel slowing down time: do something you don't like

Life can only ever take place in the present moment. As a result, the whole concept of time becomes meaningless.

The speed of time seems to be largely determined by how much information our minds absorb and process — the more information there is, the slower time goes. This connection was verified by the psychologist Robert Ornstein in the 1960s.

And if more information slows down time, perhaps part of the reason why time goes so slowly for children is because of the massive amount of perceptual information that they take in from the world around them.

Young children appear to live in a completely different world to adults — a much more intense, real, fascinating, and beautiful one.

This is one of the reasons why we often recall childhood as a time of bliss

Because the world was a much more exciting and beautiful place to us then, and all our experiences were so intense.

However, as we get older, we lose this intensity of perception, and the world becomes a dreary and familiar place — so dreary and familiar that we stop paying attention to it.

As we become adults, we begin to switch off the wonder and is-ness of the world. We gradually stop paying conscious attention to our surroundings and experience.

As a result, we take in less information, which means that time passes more quickly.

Buddhist scripture states clearly that “Time is a concept derived from this or that phenomenon. And it does not exist by nature, it is merely a concept” (Narada Maha Thera, 1987, p. 216).

Furthermore, Buddhist philosophy suggests that time is mind-dependent because time has no existence outside of phenomena and their observers.

Time must be perceived by a mind (consciousness) in relation to successions of events that occur to a particular system (that is, planes of existence, such as heaven, earth, or hell)

It follows that without a mind to observe the changes of the conditioned things, the perception of time cannot be realized (Bunnag, 2016, p. 90).

Finally, the concept of time in Buddhist philosophy suggests that without the conditioned things, there will be no concept of time.

The conditioned things related to time as witness to their unstable and changing condition which suggests that time does not exist separately from the conditioned things.

This relationship does not mean that time is a quality of the conditioned things, but it indicates that time is only a concept invented by consciousness from perceiving the becoming process of the conditioned things.

It follows that without the becoming process of the conditioned things, there is no time, and without time, there is no past, present, and future (Bunnag, 2016, p. 91).

The only existence would be only the unconditioned things that exist beyond the concept of time (Promtha, 1988, p. 59).

Consciously create and intentionally move into the experience of stewardship and guardianship.

How would it feel if you don’t own your child, but you are the guardian of a free spirit?

How does it feel to not own “your” partner, but to choose to be with a free soul and to enrich each other's life at that moment in time?

Everything can be sadhana.

The way you eat, the way you sit, the way you stand, the way you breathe, the way you conduct your body, mind and your energies and emotions – this is sādhanā.

Sādhanā does not mean any specific kind of activity.

Sādhanā means you are using everything as a tool for your wellbeing.

Samādhi means a steady, stable mind; samādhi does not mean focusing.

Vipassanā samādhi comes from right view, right attitude and right thought which together with continuity of awareness, gives the mind stability. This kind of samādhi is called sammā-samādhi.

The mind is being merged with peace. It becomes the peace.

We are interested in whether the meditating mind is operating with craving, aversion, delusion, or any of their relatives because insights can’t arise in the presence of these defilements.

While meditating, It’s very important to have wisdom in the meditating mind.

In vipassanā, the mind is learning how to not become attached to any object by way of being neutral.

Wisdom samādhi begins with wisdom and invests in wisdom. Because there is right view, right attitude, and right thinking, the mind does not react with craving or aversion. There is no attraction to or aversion for an object.

Deep-rooted habit of unawaken mind binds us to one life after another by keeping us feel unsatisfaction even after all things have been achieved.

They're simply builders of the house every time it is old and collapsed.

There's no curse sitting upon human life. It's the thing people want, aspire for, work for, strive to have in their life - turns into curse in their life.

In Myanmar Buddhism and possibly other variants, we donate with expectation that we'll receive benefits in our future life.

Donation is simply helping someone in need - whether we donate money or food.

By linking "donation" with the concept of "karma" which is activated only with intention, we concluded donation only with the good intention will benefit. Donation with expectation or greed is simply a waste of money.

Donation of food is giving life support in its root meaning. Take care of your parents is giving life support too

Compassion generated before donation cannot be faked or generated on demand.

Donation shouldn't be done with "Should-Do" or "Must-Do" attitudes.

Donation should be done by instigating compassions for needful and wish them in well-being first. May they enjoy this food/cloth/stuff

Love Animals

A spiritual reason for being a vegetarian is to avoid lowering our spiritual consciousness with the vibrations of the animals we ingest.

When we eat an animal, we are making that animal a part of us. We are ingesting not only the body of the animal but also the vibrations of that animal as well as their hormones.

Think of the fear that an animal would be feeling at the end of its life, caged and mistreated, and then on the way to the slaughterhouse.

Think of the tremendous fear and panic the animal experiences as it is being killed. We know that when we experience fear, the hormones of cortisol and adrenaline are released in our body.

They affect us by putting the body in stress and breaking down bodily functions. The hormones of cortisol and adrenaline remain in the slaughtered animal, and when we eat that animal they become part of us.

Our body is made of 70% water and water retains memory as per scientific study - , which we can derive the fact that emotinal trauma that animals face during their last momements could persist in their body.

When we are dying, no matter who we are we experience four types of fear: fear of losing the self, fear of separating from loved ones, fear of leaving possessions behind, and fear of not remaining in the world.

These fears intensify our attraction to the world, our desire to remain part of it. This attraction or desire controls our subtle consciousness and forces contact with the world. The connection is through the gross body.

The fear of death is due to deeply association and identification of oneself - belongings and families.

The moment you're approaching death, none of your belongings, families and any external factors no longer matter to you.

The final moments of death will determine where your next life will be.

It's more appropriate to die alone peacefully and consciously than dying with tubes in hospitals (=torturing in last moments) or dying in front of all family members (=creating sense of loss in final moments)

Death is not something that will happen suddenly. It builds up over time. Many times, the body is setting forth the process.

If a person dying in natural death then with a little bit of awareness, one can clearly see the death coming in 6-8 months in advance.

People may die in the situation, in the same cause but never be the same way.

If you want that moment of death to happen in full awareness, you have to live a life of awareness.

Unconscious person simply leaves the body from bad ways because their life was a bondage so death is also a bondage.

We all very afraid of our and closest families' death due to identication and attachment which are due to the fact we assumes and want things are permanent. To break this chain, we need to do mortal meditation.

Based on the fact that the mind wanders on the past and experienced happenings, it may still continue doing even after the death of body.

Death And Mind

The mind is divided into the gross mind, the subtle mind, and the very subtle mind. The gross mind depends on the body. As soon as body functions stop, gross mind stops.

The subtle mind, which underpins the five senses, provides information to the very subtle mind. Neither the gross mind nor the subtle mind goes from past to present, present to future, carrying information from life to life.

In the very last moment of consciousness of a dying person, conceptual thoughts have ceased because the brain, heart, breath have stopped. So the gross mind has stopped.

What’s left after death is a neutral mind, an unbiased mind. It continues. This consciousness has mere knowing, mere clarity, and mere experience.

3 types of mind -

Balanced Spiritual Life Plan

Consciously donate to people, causes, monks, situations that are attempting to achieve Nibanna.

Consciously and regularly meditate with the intention directed towards Nirvana.

Consciously reduce attachments to addictions but know when to balance while serving life and family commitments.

Nature Of Energy

You can feel the difference of energy when you enter different houses. You can feel the difference of energy when you visit certain places.

That is because you undergo multiple transactions of energy. For example, a bar will have a certain kind of energy and a temple will have a certain kind of energy. That's why people with resonating energies get attracted towards their desired location.

Heaven And Hell

Thoughts can't take hold of you in any manner until unless you have given them your attention.

Free will is a concept in mind as well as Destiny is a concept in mind.

If we were curious whether Heaven and Hell really exist, if we experience right now heaven and hell are the states of the Mind.

When you are in Bliss happiness and enjoyment, you are in heaven. When you are in anxiety, stress, You are in hell. There is no other Heaven and Hell. We create our own heavens and Hells.

To enter heaven or to enter hell you require a sense of self because A self can only seek heaven and a self can only avoid hell.

If we inquire that if there is no self pr we are in the nature of void, then who cares about heaven and hell? The awareness takes us beyond both of them.

Universal Consciousness

Believe you're infinitely knowledgeable and powerful spiritual being with unlimited access to Universal Consciousness.

You as “Universal Consciousness” can not only remove “evil” but also cause its disintegration and transmute it into pure light.

When you’ve built it in details in your mind, you hand it over to the Universal Consciousness (the contractor), it will do the rest for you.

Universal consciousness in which time does not exist holds all creations and manifestations past, present, future in this timeless soup of creation.

Love and Gratitude will set up a resonance of unity in vibration with Universal Consciousness.

Universal Consciousness doesn’t have Yes and No understanding. It only complies with whatever you’re thinking, portraying, manifesting in your mind.

When we directly go to the source to facilitate the healing, we don't need rituals, transfer of energy, and meta-physical thoughts.

We live in a mind's created universe. Nothing in the physical existence is real, which is all what the mind created to believe. Belief and non-belief create our reality.

Heal erroneous thoughts and mind programs within us, which also causes the illness in another person.

Errors in others also lie within us. We do not even have to know what the error is. The consciousness within knows where the error is and what needs to be done.

Keep love in your mind. Thoughts of lower vibrations (negative thoughts) will be blocked.

You got things out of balance and it's up to you to get it back in balance.

When you condemn "sin", you make it psychologically real.

Our job is to get rid of Ego so that we can go home to Universal Consciousness.

When we go into meditation and open the channel to the Universal Consciousness, ask for help. We somehow get help, advice, inspiration that will lead to help.

Once you open the floodgates of creative energies, it’s unlimited.

Your consciousness creates your own harmonious success. This is hard to do with all fear which has been introduced to our lives and stress of everyday living.

Your mind can reach into the unseen world of higher consciousness to supply everything you need and want. In that state, what you feel what you need is what matters most to you.

Idea Of Oneness

There's nothing outside of you except the spiritual oneness because every single object, matter, person, possession, idea, topic is all happening within your mind. That's why it's called oneness.

In a mind’s created universe, “evil” is also mind-created and thus an illusion.

“Evil” has no spiritual power of its own except for the perceived power given by your mind.

Quantum Mechanics

The world of quantum physics is one that sheds light on the truth about our world in ways that challenge the existing framework of accepted knowledge.

Quantum physics state that what we perceive as our physical material world, is really not physical or material at all, in fact, it is far from it.

Everything we call real is made of things that cannot be regarded as real.

The realization that matter is nothing but an illusion replaced it. Scientists began to recognize that everything in the Universe is made out of energy.

Atoms are made out of invisible energy, not tangible matter.

To keep the stress off of the front door steps, we can simply attack it with LOVE.

Inner dimension of love is everywhere because it’s timeless.

Live in a sea of energy and love.

Open up the unlimited flow of love, peace, creativity, abundance and everything you can imagine.

Illusionary Physical World

Remember everything is mind; the mind’s created understanding, perception and interpretation. Consciously neutralise erroneous thoughts and transmute them to love with the practice of Gratitude.

If your mind is filled with Love, “evil” has no place to stay and it will not surface. Remember physical reality is the mind’s created understanding. It starts from the mind first.

Quit involving yourself in pleasures and horrors of the illusionary physical world. Get to the real thing.

When you’re done having fun in illusionary physical life, you’ll come to senses one day and come home to what is real.

All creation or manifestation starts in the mind at every level of existence.

Spend some time visualizing your beautiful moments of tomorrow, next week, next month, next year and next decades.

If you think a person is bad, it is manifested just within your mind. If you think a person is good, it is also within your mind.

Every invention has to be visualised in details before it can be manifested into physical reality.

Once manifestation is done, a permanent record has been created in 2 places - mental existence and physical memory.

Anything manifested ha a destination or location and can be visited you decide to.

The more you visit your mentally visualise day manifestation and build on it, the more solid it becomes.

When you visit the manifestation, you can improve, expand, solidify and put more details,Color, feelings, emotions to it.

If there are things and people in your life you don’t like, you don’t de-manifest it. You manifest new things and situations to replace the ones you presently have for the highest good for all concerned.

It takes not only hard work but also manifestation and strong desire of success are required. Else a small struggle or barrier can ruin the path to success.

For family’s greater cause, it’s important for you and your spouse to manifest together in details to the same greater good cause so that no conflicts arise.

Our mind is simply a hologram. We can create anything we want. So, it’s important to manifest and feel only good things which we can control.

Manifestation requires much details, color and emotions.

Creation means to create something new. Manifestation means to bring something into existence.

People mostly wait for things to happen unconsciously. For you, start manifesting by consciously initiating it.

Forgiveness is mandatory to become successful at manifesting and attaining higher spiritual capacities.

Whatever you believe passionately enough in your physical life will follow you in to next phases your existence.

In order for the outer world and physical existence to change, there must be a change in our consciousness.

A planned, vivid visualization of the life you want is a key.

If you have created a detailed emotional picture of success, forces other than your hard labour and Higher consciousnes thinking will step into the game to help you.

You get to enjoy the feeling of having the finished product while you’re working on it.

Know what you want, and you’ll have it. If you don’t know what you want, you will have it too.

Both of them can be re-called and relived many times. These two are connected and draw on each other trying to connect in one place.

Every time you revisit that location, you solidify the path to it. The first few times you need a map. After that you know where it it. No map needed.

The more you visit and work on it, the stronger connection you will have to it.

You can create your own future by visualizing it into existence and pave the road to it.

Get emotional, and feel the satisfaction and enjoyment of already having it.

Emotion is the carrier of thought and mental pictures.

Visualise mental picture of what you want - not what you fear. Wrong visualization: Please cure my back pain. Right version: I maintain healthy physical body.

One way or the other, you’re the architect of your life because whatever happens or assumed, understood, perceived are a direct manifestation of your mind.

Nine Senses

Vision through the retina and the optic nerves.

Hearing through the ear drums, the hearing bones, the inner ear and the cochlear nerve.

Your sense of balance through the balancing organ in the semicircular canals in the inner ear and via the vestibular nerve.

Tactile sense in your skin (various nerve fibers have receptors for heat, cold, itch, pain and pressure).

Sense of smell through chemical sensors inside the mucous membranes of your nose and the olfactory nerves.

Sense of taste through chemical receptors in your tongue that give you a sense of sour, sweet, bitter and salty.

The Thinking and Analytical Mind

The Emotion

Awareness; Consciousness of Self, Space and Surrounding

Chakras literally mean wheels. But they’re not in the form of circles or wheels.

There are a total of 114 chakras, out of which 7 are major junction points.

Third-eye is not another eye that we may perceive.

Root chakra is located at the Perineum.

Root chakra provides foundation for life, and it helps you feel grounded and able to withstand challenges

Food and sleep and basic needs are dominant in your life if root chakra is influencing.

Sacral chakra just below your belly button provides enjoyments towards life (not necessarily mean sex)

Solar plexus chakra, or Manipura, is located in your stomach area. It’s responsible for confidence and self-esteem, as well as helping you feel in control of your life.

Heart chakra, or Anahata, is located near your heart, in the center of your chest. It comes as no surprise that the heart chakra is all about our ability to love and show compassion.

Throat chakra, or Vishuddha, is located in your throat. This chakra has to do with our ability to communicate verbally.

Third eye between your eyes is responsible for intuition. It’s also linked to imagination.

Crown chakra represents your spiritual connection to yourself, others, and the universe. It also plays a role in your life’s purpose.

If all your life situations and health conditions are no issues but yet you’re experiencing unexplainable emotional moodiness, Chakra system says one or more of your chakras are blocked.

When we experience a blocked chakra, it means our energy in that area is sluggish or hampered from flowing smoothly as it should.

Common causes that hamper a smooth energy flow through our chakras include physical blockage, emotional or psychological blockage, or spiritual blockage.

Seven chakras throughout our body are influenced by our emotions and activity.

The Root chakra color is red, the Sacral chakra is orange, the Solar Plexus chakra is yellow, the Heart chakra is green, the Throat chakra is blue, the Third Eye chakra is the color of indigo, and the chakra for the Crown is the color violet.

One of the simplest ways of realigning the chakras is to spend more time outdoors in nature. Sitting in the grass or walking on it barefoot are wonderful ways that lead to feeling more connected while taking in nature’s healing energy.

Another way, which can easily be done at home is practicing creative visualization of positive images.

Breathing mindfully is one of the easiest as well as best ways to restore balance to the chakras.

Practicing daily gratitude has been shown to raise our vibrational frequency. Gratitude has a positive influence on all of the chakras it is that powerful!

When you mindfully raise the vibration of your chakras, you become more receptive to attracting positive energy into your life, such as abundance, happiness, peace and even improves relationships!
